In this curricular unit, we will:
– Present students with a set of specialized sources, knowledges and tools through which they may moniter the
topic in
organizations
– Provide a practical simulation of specific performance and compensation management methods in private and
public
organizations
– Develop a set of management solutions, namely through the analysis of case studies and practical exercises
There are four purposes to this:
1) develop problem solving skills in students
2) get students acquainted with the case study method as well as with simulation techniques
3) create metrics to assess people’s performance in organizations
4) maximize connections to other curricular units
