Teaching Methodologies
Theoretical Classes: These classes direct the student to the fundamental aspects of Human Anatomy and Physiology and are intended to let students get to the knowledge of systems and different organs that integrate them and to the understanding of their functions.
Theoretical-practical classes: With the theoretical-practical classes it is intended that the students apply the knowledge acquired in the theoretical classes in the resolution of exercises and interpretation of results obtained in the context of problems or clinical cases.
The assessment is made through a final exam (100%)
Learning Results
The aim of the present curricular unit is to make students of biomedical engineering aware of the general bases of the organization of the human body from a macroscopic point of view and regarding the underlying functioning.
Thus, it is intended that the student can identify the different structures and systems of the human body and designate its constituents. In addition, the student should be able to locate the structures, assign them a functional role and describe the physiological mechanisms that occur there.
The human anatomo-physiology curricular unit favors teaching oriented towards clinical and imaging applications, having as concern the practical interest of knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
