Teaching Methodologies
The lectures use expository and inquisitive methods. The syllabus is presented in practical situations and critical thinking and understanding
are encouraged through active participation in class; students solve exercises individually or in groups.
In some classes, which are more tutorial in nature, individual learning skills and teamwork are explored by clarifying doubts and monitoring
the proposed work.
Learning Results
Obtaining knowledge of the constitution and operation of the various processes for treating water for human consumption and the treatment
of urban effluents, as well as their control procedures and regulation methodologies and their operational problems and respective
resolution methodologies.
Acquisition of skills and competences in the operation of the various components of water and wastewater treatment plants and the
resolution of operational problems in these facilities.
