Bachelor in Environmental Technology and Management

Course Objectives

To provide a strong cientific, technical, theoretical and applied training, while producing professionals with practical and operational skills able to improve organisations’ environmental performance, controlling pollution and promoting the sustainable management of natural resources, environmental awareness and safety in organisations, and tackling environmental problems’ complexity through integrated approaches towards sustainable development.

Access Conditions

General access: one of the following exams 02 Biology and geology; 07 Physics and Chemistry; 16 Mathematics.
Special access: switching degree, transference, exam to those older than 23 years old having a vocational diploma (CTEsP or CET).

Service companies in the environmental area; Industry; Central and regional administration; NGOs linked to the environment; Integration in R&D teams working in the following areas:
Industrial and environmental licensing; Hygiene, safety and health at work; Environmental and quality management and certification; Energy management and energy efficiency; Environmental diagnostics and audits; Monitoring and management of water supply systems and treatment systems for liquid and gas emissions and solid wastes; Natural resource management; Evaluation of environmental impacts; Regional and urban planning; Environmental education and training.
