Artistic Activities
The IPC, through the Penedo da Saudade Cultural Center, has signed a protocol with about two dozen of entities in Coimbra and Oliveira do Hospital, within the scope of the Artistic Practices Program of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra.
The objective of this Program is to create conditions to encourage students and workers from the Polytechnic of Coimbra community to attend the most varied artistic activities, from music to theater, through visual arts and dance, without prejudice to their professional and/or academic obligations.
With in this Programme, the Polytechnic of Coimbra will, on the one hand, contribute financially to the attendance of its members in artistic activities, grant students access to the Student Statute Practicing Artistic Activities and, at the same time, give visibility to the work carried out by partner entities. The Program provides for the participation of each member of the IPC’s internal community through the payment of a percentage defined annually.
Some of the registered entities also offer discounts on their activities.
