The Post-Graduation in Sensory Integration aims at deepening knowledge and developing skills in the area of sensory information.
Access Conditions
Holders of a degree in Occupational Therapy or legal equivalent may apply to enrol in the Postgraduate Course in Sensory Integration.

Learning Objectives
The successful completion of the Post-Graduation in Sensory Integration certifies that its trainees have succeeded in the process of acquisition of learning and skills in Sensory Integration according to international requirements, namely:
– The theoretical foundations of sensory integration based on the theory and practice of Dr. A. Jean Ayres;
– Clinical reasoning strategies for the use of sensory integration, in clinical practice;
– Identifying the contributions of sensory integration to the individual’s development;
– Administration of the SIPT® and SPM®, among other assessment methodologies based on the Sensory Integration theory;
– Interpreting assessment results, including SIPT® and other instruments’ results
– Planning of intervention strategies;
– The implementation of interventions, by means of sensory integration strategies in different contexts;
– Planning and executing a research project in the area of Sensory Integration.
