Learning Results

It is intended that at the end of The Unit, participants will be able to:
1. Understanding research as a social process of knowledge transformation;
2. Evaluate the importance of quantitative and qualitative studies for Research in the area of sensory integration;
3. Understand the dynamics and moments of a scientific research process;
4. Know how to analyze a scientific publication;
5. Know how to write an investigation report.

Program

The curricular unit aims to provide theoretical-practical cognitive resources on the research processes in Ayres Sensory Integration® and writing scientific papers.
It focuses on the analysis of qualitative and qualitative methodologies of understanding, description, inference and interpretation of different contexts of occupational therapist professional practice through the ASI approach
It is intended, thus, to develop with the graduates, the ability to prepare scientific articles.
