Micro-credential in Digital Skills for Health

Course Objectives

The “Digital Skills for Health” course equips future health professionals with the foundational competencies needed to navigate electronic health records, ensure data security, interpret digital health data, and communicate effectively using digital platforms. As health services increasingly rely on telemedicine, artificial intelligence, and remote monitoring, professionals must be prepared to engage with these technologies confidently and ethically. The course aims to equip students with the skills for the safe, ethical, and effective use of digital technologies in the health field, promoting their integration into clinical practice, academic work, and research. It also enhances employability and readiness for multidisciplinary collaboration in technologically advanced environments.

Access Conditions

Students in the 4th year of Bachelor’s degree programmes and students enrolled in Master’s degree programmes offered by the Coimbra Health School (ESTeSC–IPC) may apply for this micro-credential.
