Teaching Methodologies
The Curricular Unit will consist of two modules (M1 and M2). Each module will include theoretical lectures as well as fieldwork and laboratory work. Students will undertake guided bibliographical research and deliver oral presentations in Portuguese and English.
Learning Results
1 – To understand the general biology of bees;
2 – To identify and control the main enemies of bees;
3 – To manage bee colonies according to different production objectives;
4 – To identify and use melliferous plants suitable for the intended production;
5 – To identify mushrooms relevant to agrarian ecosystems.
