Learning Results
1- Dominate the functionement of forest ecosystems and population dynamics of phytophagous;
2 – Identifies biotic agents able to cause damage to forest trees,
3 – Establishes the influence of biotic agents in the growth and development of plants;
4 – Know the effect of abiotic factors (fire, high temperature, natural disasters) in the dynamics of causal agents and assesses the impact caused;
5 – Establish management measures aimed at a sustainable forest development.
Program
1. Interactions between organisms, phytophagus population dynamics and consequences in the plants;
2. Biotic agents able to cause damage to portuguese forest trees;
3. Management of forests against forest pests and diseases;
4. Control measures.

In order to be Aproved , the students must complete the follow conditions:
