Curricular Externship

It is recommended that the student have adequate knowledge of the scientific areas taught in the study cycle related to the area in which they will develop their curricular internship.

External and internal advisors will play an active role in supporting the student’s work and in preparing the final report, which will be submitted for oral presentation before a jury. The final grade will be obtained by weighting the work developed, the written report, and the oral presentation.

The goal is for students to have contact with the world of work. The course focuses on applying the knowledge acquired during their undergraduate studies to concrete situations, autonomously seeking solutions, and developing skills in teamwork, communication, and information synthesis.

The work and schedule of tasks to be developed are defined by the student, the internal supervisor at ESAC, and the external supervisor responsible at the internship site. This information will be included in the internship plan.

In addition to the work carried out during the internship period and evaluated by the external supervisor, the student will have to prepare a final report and give an oral presentation and discussion before a panel consisting of a chair, the internal supervisor, and another professor who will question the final internship report. The final grade will be obtained by weighting the work developed during the internship, the written report, and its presentation and discussion, in accordance with the current regulations.
