Periodic Assessment: 4 Assessment Instruments
- Two Written Tests [25% * 2 = 50%]
- T1 - Theoretical Written Assessment (25%): March 16, 2026
- T2 - Theoretical Written Assessment (25%): May 18, 2026
- Two Practical Tests [25% * 2 = 50%]
- P1 - Practical Written Assessment (25%): March 19, 2026 (respective class schedule)
- P2 - Practical Written Assessment (25%): May 21, 2026 (respective class schedule)
The student is aproved when:
- Have met the minimum attendance requirement for practical classes (65%)
- Grade for each of the assessment instruments (T1, P1, T2, P2) greater than or equal to 7.5;
- Weighted average of the grades from the different assessment instruments equal to or greater than 9.5.
The student's grade will be obtained using the following formula:
[T1 x 0,25]+ [T2 x 0,25]+[P1 x 0,25]+[P2 x 0,25]
Final Exam Assessment:
The assessment instruments used in continuous assessment and their respective weighting remain the same.
Students who did not pass the periodic assessment but met the attendance requirement (65% - P) may choose one of the following options for final assessment:
- Option 1: completion of all assessment instruments, thus disregarding all grades obtained in periodic assessments. In this case, the student passes when the weighted average of the grades obtained in the different assessment instruments is equal to or greater than 9.5. If the student does not pass an assessment in one period, they will have to repeat all assessment instruments in the following period.
- Option 2: completion only of the assessment instruments in which the student obtained a grade lower than 7.5, in which case the student passes when, cumulatively:
- the grade for each of the assessment instruments is greater than or equal to 7.5;
- the weighted average of the grades obtained in the different assessment instruments is equal to or greater than 9.5.
If the student only has grades equal to or greater than 7.5 but whose weighted average is less than 9.5, they must use Option 1.
Students who did not opt for periodic assessment and/or did not meet the attendance requirement may only take the final assessment in Option 1.
