Horse management, Riding teaching I, II and III, Introduction to Tourism

The teaching / learning process is based on:

– Theoretical-practical classes of expository methodology for the presentation of theoretical contents, with presentations in “power point” and use of audiovisual means to demonstrate certain contents

– Practical application classes (demonstration and execution) to sediment the theoretical contents presented

Plan different horse tourism activities, according to the different types of clients; Prepare and frame equestrian tours independently, on previously studied itineraries, ensuring respect for the environment and the safety of third parties; Master the principles of the sport modality Techniques of Equestrian Randonée de Competition (TREC).

• The choice and training of the horse for leisure riding and Equestrian Tourism
• Management of activities involved with Equestrian Tourism
• Cartography and orientation applied to Equestrian Tourism
• Horse material and equipment for Equestrian Tourism
• Communication with equestrian tourists
• Planning and organization of activities related to Equestrian Tourism
• Planning and execution of horseback routes
• Activity planning according to the tourist group
• Varied Terrain Course

 Continuous evaluation:

The final grade will be the arithmetic average of the grades of the practical (50%) and theoretical evaluation (50%).

    Practical assessment: Work (written work: 50% and oral presentation: 50%)

    Theoretical evaluation: writen test (100%)

           Final grade = 0,5 x written test + 0,25 x written work + 0,25 x oral presentation

Assessment by exam:

The exam evaluation will be similar to continuous evaliation.

The final grade will be the arithmetic average of the grades of the practical (50%) and theoretical evaluation (50%).

    Practical assessment: Work (written work: 50% and oral presentation: 50%)

    Theoretical assessment: written exam (100%)

           Final grade = 0,5 x written exam + 0,25 x written work + 0,25 x oral presentation
