Teaching Methodologies
O modelo pedagógico pressupõe uma aproximação do estudante à realidade das empresas e da administração, em constante mutação,
com foco na área da Solicitadoria. Pressupõe a preparação para a vida ativa mediante um contacto científico atualizado e rigoroso com a
academia e com a docente responsável pela unidade curricular.
Essa realidade é transposta para as salas de aula mediante a exposição de conteúdos teóricos e mediante a realização de exercícios
práticos baseados em questões controvertidas reais.
Incentiva-se o conhecimento crítico, o estudo autónomo e, se possível, em grupo, mediante a análise crítica por parte do aluno das
principais questões teórico-práticas apresentadas. A própria investigação científica é incentivada, indicando-se as fontes legais, doutrinais
e jurisprudenciais relevantes para tal desiderato e fomentando o espírito criativo e inovador do aluno.
Learning Results
The curricular unit allows the student to introduce their study in the field of general common private law, Civil Law. The student acquires
knowledge on topics applicable to civil legal relations starting from the conceptualization of Civil Law, through the differentiation between the
general theory of the civil legal system and the general theory of the legal relationship, scrutinizing, in the latter case, the concept and
structure of the legal relationship which is based on four characterizing elements: subject, object, legal fact and guarantee. The student’s
legal argumentation is improved through practical exercises, clarifying doubts and exposing pressing topics.
The student identifies and understands the applicable legislation and knows the main controversial issues underlying the general theory of
the subjects of the legal relationship, the object of the legal relationship, the legal transaction and the guarantee of the legal relationship.
