Teaching Methodologies

The teaching and learning methodology to be followed will be expository, interrogative, demonstrative, with resolution of exercises and
discussion of cases in individual and group work.
This is an active methodology designed to encourage student participation, reflection and critical analysis, promoting effective
understanding and assimilation of the content covered, as well as the integration of knowledge and training for effective use in a
professional environment.

Learning Results

The UC’s learning objectives (LO) are:
LO1) Describe the legal and regulatory documents of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH);
LO2) Identify and apply the most relevant items of the ISO 45001:2018 standard
LO3) Recognize occupational hazards and risks, based on the analysis of real work situations and their implications for the health and
safety of employees.
LO4) Develop an action plan based on risk assessment methodologies (OiRA), using a practical approach focused on accident prevention
and continuous improvement.
LO5) Draw up a checklist for internal audits and monitoring compliance with OSH Standard items, facilitating the management of regulatory
requirements.
OA6) Develop OSH communication and training plans, enabling employees and managers to adopt safe behaviors and identify risks in the
workplace
