Teaching Methodologies
The class will be taught by exposing the theoretical and its practical application. The evaluation methodology may take two forms:
1st Method: Assessment distributed throughout the semester by integrating the following components of assessment: Realization of two (2) frequencies with the weighting 50% + 50% of the final classification (20 values).
2nd method: Final evaluation through final written exam, sorted values of 0-20. The approval for the course requires reaching values of 10, excluding the oral exams, except for grade improvement.
Learning Results
Its aim is to provide students with the basic mental frameworks, in terms of concepts, principles and normative legal remedies that should be considered most relevant for understanding the Portuguese legal system underlying all the juridical and administrative. Skills to be acquired: – Understand the meaning of Public Administration and its historical evolution – Understand the framework of separation of powers and material separation of state functions – Know the administrative and constitutional model of Public Administration – Understand the principle of legality and apply it in practice – Understand the legal activity of the Administration – Know the rules on access to documents of Public Administration.
