Internship and Report

The recommended basic knowledge will be all acquired along the academic path of the master in the area of the internship that he will develop.

The student will develop their work always under the direction of their advisor and supervisor.

The supervisor is responsible for: accompanying the master during the internship, by making at least three visits to the internship location and meetings with it; Keep in close contact with the organization’s supervisor; Monitor the master’s student in the preparation of the internship report, checking the progress of the work performed through regular meetings; and Provide technical and scientific support, recommending the deepening of aspects that seem relevant.

The internship aims to provide the master’s student with on-the-job training that facilitates their future integration into the labor market, career advancement or profession change, and the report aims to highlight the activities developed during the internship.

Each Master’s student will carry out an internship where they will apply the themes of accounting and public management.

The internship is carried out under exchange programs or collaboration agreements established with business or institutional organizations, in which activities can be developed for which the master’s student has been prepared.

After completing the internship and preparing the Internship Report, the master's student must apply for public exams.

The jury is made up of three to five members, including the supervisor and the co-supervisor(s), if any. The members of the jury must be specialists in the field in which the project work, internship report or dissertation is inserted, appointed from among professors holding a doctoral degree and specialists of merit recognized as such by the CTC, national or foreign.

The public discussion will last about 90 (ninety) minutes, where the master will make an oral presentation, synthesizing the content of the work carried out and highlighting its objectives, and main conclusions, with a maximum duration of 20 (twenty) minutes; and the remaining time must be distributed equally between the jury and the master's student.

Once the tests are completed, the jury meets for the assessment and deliberation of the grade to be awarded to the master's student.
