Teaching Methodologies

As  aulas  são  teórico-práticas.  É  utilizada  uma  metodologia  expositiva  para  a  apresentação  da  matéria teórica, exemplificando imediatamente com situações concretas da realidade Nacional. A obordagem das matérias  expostas  será  feita  recorrendo  a  vídeos,  fotografias,  apresentações  em  “power  point”, demonstrações práticas no campo, bibliografia e outras referências da especialidade.

Learning Results

As a result of the learning process, the student:
1. Know the main vegetable crops;
2. Knows the main aspects related to agricultural production, namely choosing the most sought after and most productive varieties, forms of production, techniques and cultural factors of the main vegetable crops;
3. Recognizes agricultural systems and the influence of some cultural practices and soil and climate factors on production and quality;
4. Knows the bases that allow the study of factors that condition plant production;
5. Knows how to act on the factors that can favorably modify plant production with appropriate technologies to preserve the environment;
6. Knows the interactions of agricultural factors in the preservation of natural resources;
7. Knows the main technologies used in the sustainability of agricultural production and environmental protection.

2. Main influential factors in plant production;
3. Interaction of agricultural factors in the preservation of natural resources;
  4. Cultural techniques applied to different cultures and used in the sustainability of agricultural production and environmental protection;
5. Main agricultural systems taking into account the diversity of different agricultural regions.
