Teaching Methodologies
Classes are theoretical-practical (TP).
In approaching the themes, audiovisual and digital media will be used to present the contents and examples that illustrate them, as well as practical cases, exercises, self-diagnosis and individual development plans, to encourage active participation.
The pedagogical methods used will be: expository, interrogative and case study, enabling the conciliation between the presentation and analysis of theoretical concepts and approaches with active methodologies and performance practices in real work contexts in an organizational environment.
Learning-facilitating and stimulating tools will be used to engage students, utilizing educational technology such as Kahoot, Socrative, and Mentimeter.
Learning Results
The overall objective of this course is to provide students with knowledge and practices in people and team management that promote the development of leadership and management skills in an organizational context, articulating theoretical approaches and critical reflection with the current demands of organizations, aiming at the creation of organizational value and individual fulfillment.
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Understand and cultivate a strategic and integrated vision of the role of Human Capital in companies, articulating it with organizational objectives and results.
- Manage people and teams, applying modern techniques of leadership, evaluation, and people management.
- Analyze the leader’s role in team building and development, including goal setting and team performance evaluation.
- Identify and manage conflict situations within work teams.
- Recognize the importance of effective communication in the context of teams.
- Plan and facilitate team dynamics oriented towards achieving results, promoting innovation.
- Develop behavioral and managerial competencies that facilitate the achievement of Human Resources objectives in the context of teams.
- To characterize the perspectives on the evolution and new challenges of people and team management, with a particular focus on competency management, leadership and team motivation, as well as performance evaluation oriented towards organizational results.

Students may choose one of the following assessment methods:
1) Periodic assessment, through the following elements:
A) Completion of a written research and scientific analysis project, in groups (maximum 3 members), on Leadership and Team Management, allowing for the creation of a theoretical framework (literature review) and the analysis of a case study, with an oral presentation in class. This work has a weight of 60% in the final course grade. A minimum grade of 10 points is required.
B) Completion of 2 (two) individual knowledge assessment activities, in class, each with a weight of 20% in the final course grade. A minimum grade of 8 points is required in each.
The final grade for the course will correspond to the weighted average of the two elements (A + B), with a grade of 10 points required for approval.
2) Assessment through a mandatory final written exam under the terms and conditions in force at ISCAC;
No oral exams are planned.
It will be necessary to obtain a minimum grade of 10 (ten) points to pass the course.
