Learning Results

Learning objectives (LO):
LO1. Present organisational strategy as a management activity and practice and as an essential factor of competitiveness;
LO2. Train professionals who are attentive to market changes and demands, sensitising them to the importance and urgency of competitive
advantages as the foundation of strategy;
LO3. Know how to develop organisational strategy, aligning culture, people and structures with strategy, products, processes and
technology.
Competences to be developed (C):
C1. Know the significance of the evolution of the concept of organisational strategy
C2. Understand the relationship between strategic management and competitiveness
C3. Recognise the importance of strategic thinking and planning in an organisation
C4. Be aware of the different existing competitive strategies
