Teaching Methodologies

The following teaching-learning methodologies (TM) will be used:
TM1 – Expository: through the presentation of the respective research work.
TM2 – Collaborative: as a result of sharing individual experiences, students build or improve their knowledge in a collaborative, reflective
and critical debate with their colleagues and lecturers.
TM3 – Autonomous work, supported by their supervisors/co-supervisors, necessary to carry out the research, reading, systematisation and
writing of their non-teaching component work.

Learning Results

Learning objectives (LO):
LO1. The main objective is to support Master’s students in the development of their Dissertation / Project Work / Internship and Report
research work, leading to the award of a Master’s degree.
LO2. To contribute to the success rate of the master’s programme, with a greater number of students completing it, preferably within the
timeframe initially envisaged (two years).
Competences to be developed (C):
C1. Time management in the development of autonomous work in the non-teaching component of the master’s programme.
C2. Sharing their experiences, challenges and opportunities during the research process.

Program

P1 – S-type hours – Seminar: intended for a mid-term presentation focused, in particular, on systematising the literature review carried out
and problematising, designing and applying the research methods adopted for the empirical / applied study of the Dissertation / Project
Work / Internship and Report.
The aim is to create a brainstorming and feedback session for master’s students, where they can share experiences and difficulties, obtain
feedback and contributions, foster mutual support and encourage the development of their work to the desired levels of quality and, more
efficiently, culminate their work.
This session will be attended by the Master’s Scientific Committee and the respective supervisors will also be invited to take part.
P2 – OT Hours – Tutorial Guidance: corresponds to regular tutorial support, provided by the respective supervisors and co-supervisors (if
applicable) for the completion of the Dissertation / Project Work / Internship and Report.
