Teaching Methodologies

The scientific approach to concepts is done through: research, systematization and information presentation, appreciation and discussion of scientific papers, films, …, discussion and reflection on issues of everyday situations. Exchanges with other institutions are encouraged, motivating the recognition of health, environment and consumption practices. There will place the design of educational materials tailored to different audiences. Tutorial Guidance is provided. In continuous assessment, is considered the individual performance in the classroom during the sessions, including through attendance, punctuality, participation and motivation of students (20%), development of written (40%) and oral communications presented individual and / or group (40%) in which are valued aspects as structure and organization of information, appropriateness to the objectives of the work, language used, quality of scientific information and its correction as well as the critical attitude

Investigate, interpret and discuss scientific documents

Understand and establish relationships between Health – Environment – Consumption.

Assume and express reasoned positions in Health, Environment and Consumption fields .

Recognize the importance of the environment in the individual and collective well being.

Argue, on scientific  based evidence, the influence of various factors on the health of individuals.

Make questions, research and solve problems raised by issues of everyday life.

Recognize the role of the school, and its practices, at health, environment and consumption levels, in promoting health and improving quality of life.
