Teaching Methodologies

Firstly, this curricular unit is based on expositive sessions, covering the contents. Theoretical framing will be accomplished in class using PowerPoint presentations, oral exposition and the indication of reference articles for studying. After this, students will be accompanied and tutored in an investigation study, which will lead to the writing of a scientific article.

2. Different types of scientific methodologies applied in Sport.
3. Models of presentation of scientific research works.
4. The chosen thematic with an appropriate literature revision work.
5. Investigation techniques (data collection, treatment and results) adequate to the
thematic and specific investigative objectives.
6. Presentation of documents produced within a scientific research.
7. Application of the subject’s contents in the Sport Sciences area.

Grading Methods

Periodical assessment:

Written test: 30%

Group Projects: 55%

Oral presentation of the group projects: 10%

Participation in the activities: 5%
