Teaching Methodologies

The T and TP contents are taught in expository sessions supported by audiovisual resources and specialised bibliography, fostering reflection and practical application. The practical component involves experiential learning first as a participant and later as a coach through micro-teaching. The NÓNIO platform is used to provide materials, assessments, and assignment submissions.

This CU is assessed exclusively by continuous evaluation [100% = 20 values] considering the following items:

1. Tests (30%).

2. Practical tests (40%).

3. Assignments (20%).

4. In-person participation (10%)

NOTE: for approval, the student must have a minimum of 50% in item 1 and 50% in item 2. According to no. 8 of article 13 of the Academic Regulation of the 1st Cycle of Studies of ESEC, the student must meet the following conditions to be eligible for exam:

1. Have attended at least 50% of the classes.

The exam consists of T test (40%) and a P test (60%). The student must have a minimum of 50% in both.

Learning Results

1. Know the structure, regulation and development of golf.

2. Knowing the golf teaching model.

3. Know how to observe and analyse the technique.

4. Know how to plan and execute the specific golf training.

5. Know the technology, equipment and “custom fitting”.

6. Identify and recognize different golf techniques and critical components.

7. Know how to identify the parameters to be taken into account in the preparation of the game and know how to evaluate and prescribe corrective exercises according to the technical errors detected.
