Teaching Methodologies

The TP contents are also addressed in expository sessions, also based on bibliography of the specialty. In addition, current data/facts are presented that support the contents under analysis and/or good practice projects, which allow students to better understand the practical applicability of the topics covered. Exercises, activities and/or tasks of a practical nature, individually and/or in groups, are proposed by the teacher, and carried out by the students, to consolidate what is addressed in theoretical terms. This CU is assessed by continuous/periodic evaluation and exam [100% = 20 points].

By continuous/periodic evaluation, the following items are considered:

1. Theoretical-practical and practical-laboratory tests (55%).

2. Tests (40%).

3. In-person participation (5%)

Learning Results

1. Coordinate and supervise the prescription, evaluation, conduction and guidance of programs and activities, in the area of fitness and gym activities, within the scope of the operation of gyms.

2. Coordinate and supervise the evaluation of the quality of the services provided, as well as the preparation of proposals for improvement.

3. Prepare the technical manual for the operations of the sports activities that take place in the gymnasiums.

4. Coordinate the production of sports activities in the field of fitness.

5. Technically supervise the activities carried out within the scope of the gymnasiums.

6. Develop strategies for adhering to and maintaining regular practice in fitness activities/programs in gyms.
