Anatomophysiology of Audiovestibular System II

Base Knowledge

 Head and Neck Human Anatomy

 Basics of Human Physiology

Teaching Methodologies

It is encouraged the autonomous study through the completion of tasks and preparation of classes.

The classes will be based on the expositive method

The correction of the tasks and the doubts presented by the students after the preparation of the subjects will serve as a guide for some topics.

Learning Results

Knowledge of the Anatomical and Physiological basis of Hearing and Balance as well as the anatomical relations between the audiovestibular structures.
Being able to relate anatomy and physiology with  common clinical situations.
Understanding the anatomical and physiological basis of some diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in auditory and vestibular pathology
