Learning Results
Know the different human blood groups and the various methods of erythrocyte grouping, screening and
identification of alloantibodies as well as the procedures to be carried out with donations, components separating
and the respective quality control material, reagents and units transfused
– Understanding common procedures for theoretical and laboratory study of samples from patients with
autoimmune hemolytic anemia of various etiologies and poliaglutination
– Understanding the pathophysiology of hemolytic disease of the newborn
– Apply the global knowledge of samples in most common blood groups, screening and antibody identification,
compatibility tests, transfusion reactions and antibody titers as well as the study of hemolytic anemia systems.
– Run, validate and interpret the results of laboratory techniques and methods taught
Deter – knowledge in the area of Immunohematology, which enable the laboratory to clinical practice
