Teaching Methodologies
Nas aulas teóricas haverá uma apresentação detalhada dos conteúdos programáticos, utilizando uma metodologia
expositiva, interrogativa e ativa, com participação direta dos alunos.
Nas aulas práticas utilizar-se-á uma metodologia demonstrativa dos conceitos aprendidos, com resolução e discussão
de problemas práticos, execução de técnicas e discussão dos resultados e visualização microscópica de lâminas
histológicas.
Avaliação Contínua: Avaliação teórica:
Dois testes escritos individuais (70%), com um mínimo de 9 valores em cada avaliação.
Avaliação prática:
Momento de Avaliação Prático (30%), com o mínimo obrigatório de 9 valores.
Exame final:
Há ainda, a possibilidade de realização de exame final.

Learning Results
The student must acquire knowledge about:
1. Differentiate technical procedures for different types of cytological material.
2. Identity cell patterns for respiratory cytology, aspiration cytology of the breast, aspiration cytology of the thyroid, aspiration cytology of the lymph node.
3. Know the application of immunocytochemistry techniques, flow cytometry and molecular biology in exfoliative cytology and fine needle aspiration.
4. Perform the screening with the interpretation and preparation of the respective report.
