Base Knowledge
Students should have knowledge in the areas of public health, occupational health, environmental management, and food hygiene and safety.
Teaching Methodologies
In the theoretical-practical matrix, the classes will be expository and interactive using audiovisual and interactive means, using audiovisual means, allowing the exposition and discussion of the cases under analysis. The practical matrix will take place through the development of case assessment methodologies in a pedagogical climate of continuous training. In these classes, there will be evaluations and case discussions (in groups) alluding to the topic addressed.

The student must acquire knowledge of:
– Different modes of action in environmental health
– Select the best available techniques applied to practical cases
– Ways to solve problems presented
The student must acquire skills to:
– Evaluate and act on field practices
– Proceed in accordance with the protocols established for each situation
The student must acquire competences to:
– Select the correct way to act and intervene in particular cases
– Identify warning situations in Environmental and occupational health
– Acting on alert situations in environmental and occupational health

Practical and simulated application of real cases in environmental and occupational health.
Different areas of activity in Environmental Health and its applicability, with identification of causes, effects and corrective and preventive measures:
– Public health
– Occupational Health
– Environmental management
– Hygiene and Food Safety
