Process of Occupational Therapy

Teaching Methodologies

In order to follow a pedagogical model centred on the student and oriented towards the development of professional skills in the area of Occupational Therapy, the following teaching methods are proposed:
Theoretical classes: expository, demonstrative and interrogative; presentation of case studies, stories about the work of occupational therapy in different contexts.
Theoretical-practical classes with active methods and analysis of problem situations, using the problem tree methodology to develop professional reasoning in outlining intervention plans.
These teaching methodologies promote in-depth knowledge of occupational and activity analysis, as well as its application. The practical classes will allow students to develop a greater sense of efficiency, as they will have the opportunity to carry out the proposed activities under the guidance of the curricular unit lecturers.

Students who obtain a minimum grade of 10 (ten), rounded up, will be considered to have passed this course unit. Continuous assessmen
