Teaching Methodologies
Given the nature of the UC’s objectives and program, tutorial guidance is the most appropriate teaching and learning methodology. Tutorial guidance is a teaching and learning methodology that stands out for its personalized nature and focus on the integral development of the student. It involves continuous monitoring of the student by the supervisor.
Assessment system:
Students who obtain a minimum grade of 10 (ten), rounded up, will be considered to have passed this course unit.
Continuous assessment: dissertation/scientific article (60%)
Oral exam, discussion before a jury of the research work carried out (40%)
Normal/resit/special exam period: scientific article (60%), oral exam, discussion before a jury of the research work carried out (40%)

Learning Results
Consolidation for autonomous production of research and practical application based on evidence in occupational therapy.
Carry out all phases of a scientific study based on a previously approved project.
Collect, organise and analyse data using appropriate quantitative and/or qualitative methods.
Critically evaluate the quality and relevance of the results obtained.
Write an original scientific article in accordance with international standards.
Present and defend the work before peers and a jury, demonstrating scientific rigour and argumentative skills.

Bibliography
Dada a natureza desta UC não é usada uma bibliografia específica, para além da bibliografia de referência utilizada na unidade de ensino metodologias de investigação. A bibliografia que compõe os aspetos técnico-científicos do projeto/trabalho de investigação, será pesquisada pelos alunos, para o estudo a desenvolver, sob orientação do professor indigitado para acompanhamento daquele trabalho.
Given the nature of this course, no specific bibliography is used, apart from the reference bibliography used in the research methodologies teaching unit. The bibliography that makes up the technical-scientific aspects of the research project/work will be researched by the students, for the study to be carried out, under the guidance of the teacher appointed to monitor that work.
