Mandatory classroom teaching in a real work context.

4.Demonstrate capacity for autonomy and rigor in the technical implementation.

6.Make accurate records and reports.
7.Demonstrate responsible behavior, according to the ethical and deontological principles.
8.Compose teams work in accordance with their respective skills and duties.
9.Apply standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with good professional practice

Internship II can only begin when the student has completed 165 ECTS, of which 128 ECTS must correspond to Curricular Units in the scientific area of Pharmacy.

Professional Internship II is mandatory for all students and has a duration of 30 weeks (840 hours).

Mandatory areas: Hospital Pharmacy and Community Pharmacy.

Optional areas: Pharmaceutical Industry (Production, Quality Control,Investogation, etc.), Sale Stations of Drugs Not Subject to Prescription, Medical Information / Marketing, Regulatory, Radiopharmacy, or other, always dependent on the student’s interest and availability of places.

Students will coursel alternately the different sectors that make up the circuit of the drug include: reception, storage, distribution, Pharmacotechnics, Quality control, Dispense, billing, or others, according to the place of Internship.

Evaluation of Professional Internship II, carried out by internship supervisors, consisting of 5 parameters:

 1. CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT (CA) parameters:

A - INTEGRATION ON INTERNSHIP LOCATION X 1.75

B - PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE X 1.75

C - THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE X 2.25

D - CAPACITY  OF TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION X 2.75

E - FINAL EVALUATION X 1.5

In the context E, students must complete a report and / or a written, oral or practical set by Internship Supervisor who will choose the instrument (s) of the final evaluation E, considered (s) most appropriate (s) to the objectives defined. I may be a written, oral or practical work, must allow the student to deepen a particular theme or topic of interest, or a theme proposed by the respective Supervisor, or a practical / oral test. This  Academic Work can be of different types, namely, a drug monograph, summary of a scientific paper, case studies, scientific reports, PowerPoint presentations, etc. The practical or oral exam wil be conducted  and under the responsibility of the Supervisor may be complementary to the written work and will have the same score.

 The value of the CONTINUOS EVALUATION obtained in each of the modules/internship locations is not rounded and the student must achieve a minimum classification of 10;

 The FINAL CLASSIFICATION of Internship II results from the weghted average (according to the duration of the internship module) of the classifications obtained in each of the modules/internship locations, rounded to the nearest unit.
