From Anatomy to Pathology – Shoulder and Knee Joint

Program

To introduce professionals to the anatomy of the shoulder and knee joints, including crosssectional anatomy, adapted to the imaging modalities used in the various diagnostic methods;
To introduce the dynamics of these two joints with regard to their mobility and the importance of dynamic studies;
To introduce the physiology of both joints with regard to all the soft tissues involved in these structures;
To describe the alterations in these structures when affected by aging;
To list the alterations in these structures when affected by pathology in the context of exercise;
Treatment approaches for alterations in the shoulder and knee joints;
Visualization of images in various cross-sectional planes for observation of the shoulder and knee joints with pathology;
Evaluation.
