Micro-credential in Indoor Air Quality Monitoring

The Micro-credential in Indoor Air Quality Monitoring aims to create a highly professional path of specialization in Indoor Air Quality Monitoring, providing students with knowledge capable of managing and/or executing the choice and application of equipment, methodologies and sample collection , treatment and processing of results as well as the elaboration of reports and improvement measures. In the area, there is a lack of training offer with a high practical component and that is capable of equipping Graduates in Environmental Health to comply with the legislation that attributes this competence to them. It is intended that students learn to use their knowledge to interpret and evaluate the surrounding reality, and to perform Indoor Air Quality Monitoring.

Students in the 4th year of the Environmental Health Degree Course at the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Coimbra (ESTeSC-IPC), as well as holders of the Environmental Health degree who are master’s degree students taught by ESTeSC-IPC, can apply for this Micro-credential.
