Course Objectives
Acquire knowledge about the universal ethical principles applicable to scientific research, as well as the legal and institutional requirements for the ethical approval of studies involving humans and animals.
Understand the types of research studies and develop the ability to design a research study and make decisions regarding the selection of assessment measures, measurement, and analytical (statistical) strategies.
Ethics in publishing, open access, and data sharing (FAIR Principles).

Students in the 4th year of bachelor courses and masters’ degrees courses taught at the E Coimbra School of Health Technology ESTeSC-IPC) can apply for this Micro-credential.
