Learning Results

The assessment is continuous / periodic and consists of 4 items:
i) PLSQL test (25%)
ii) Exam (30%)
iii) Practical work (40%)
iv) Participation (5%)
All written evaluation is without consultation.
Item i) (PLSQL) will be evaluated throughout the semester through one PL / SQL test, in the 12th week (to be confirmed)
Item ii) will be evaluated by written exams, without consultation, in the examination periods.
Item iii) (practical work) in groups of 2 students and will be carried out outside of classes.
The assessment of practical work consists of several checkpoints made in practical classes and a final defense.
There is only one edition of the practical work.
The classification obtained in the work will be used in all evaluations of the academic year (normal, recurso, especial and other periods).
In the first weeks of classes a document will be made available with the assignment of the practical work and with the schedule of the various tasks and deadlines.
Item iv) includes the participation and solving exercises and activities in theoretical and practical classes.
For grade improvement, only the written exam (item ii) will be considered, maintaining the grade obtained in the remaining items (i, iii and iv).
Continuous / periodic evaluation
The items i), iii) and iv) will be evaluated during classes.
Item iii) is carried out outside of classes but has checkpoint evaluations in practical classes.
The grades obtained in items i) iii) and iv) are valid for the entire academic year and all exam periods, with no possibility of improvement.
Exams
The exams (in all periods of the academic year ) correspond to the evaluation of item ii). Written evaluations are without consultation.
Exam access conditions:
Obtain a minimum grade of 25% in the practical work and 25% in the PL/SQL test.
