Programação Orientada a Objetos

Base Knowledge

Basic concepts in the development of algorithms and programming.

Teaching Methodologies

The following teaching methodologies are used in this curricular unit:

1) Verbal methodologies (telling), making use of the teaching resources: exposition, explanation, dialogue and
Interrogation;

2) Intuitive Methodologies (show), using the following teaching resources: Demonstration, Audiovisuals and
Written Texts;

3) Practical methodologies (doing), using computer tools.

Learning Results

Define the concept of object-orientated programming.

Identify the concepts of encapsulation, abstraction, inheritance and polymorphism.

Create object-oriented programmes.

Create objects and invoke their methods.

Grading Methods

As far as assessment is concerned, the following methods are envisaged:

1) Continuous Assessment, comprising a group assignment (TG) and two individual mini-tests (MT1and MT2). The final classification is obtained as follows:

0.25*MT1+0.25*MT2+0.5*TG.
