Teaching Methodologies
The UC operates under a continuous assessment regime in which the program contents are presented through an expository resource supported by computer support, interspersed with small practical application works to consolidate the knowledge taught.
Within the scope of teacher-student interaction and assessment, existing platforms at ISEC are used, namely Moodle.
Learning Results
At the end of this Curricular Unit, students should be able to interpret and create small technical drawings oriented towards Electrical Engineering;
Know how to use design and simulation tools for analog electrical circuits in SPICE-based software tools;
Acquire knowledge about schematic design and development of printed circuit boards layouts.

Marco José da SilvaGrading Methods
Applied assessment model : Continuous/Periodic Assessment.
The assessment results from two tests, each weighing 50% of the final grade, or final exam (100%).
All assessments are practical in nature with tests solved on a computer.
The first test focuses on computer-aided design 2D and 3D.
The second test focuses on electrical circuit analysis tools and PCB design.
The minimum attendance of students is stipulated by the Regulamento Académico dos Cursos Técnicos Superiores Profissionais (CTeSP) IPC
(Academic Regulation of Higher Professional Technical Courses (CTeSP) IPC).
