This course has no prerequisites 

Teaching Methodologies

Theoretical classes, in which the syllabus is exposed, and whenever possible, accompanied by real examples of use;
Practical classes with laboratory work for experimentation and consolidation of the syllabus;
Development of a mini-project for an Internet of Things solution

Learning Results

Recognize the concepts of communication and the impact of Internet of Things technology when applied to Smart Cities;
Understand the interactions between the people, processes, data, and things that make up the Internet of Things;
Identify the advantages and challenges of the Internet of Things in the design of Smart Cities;
Recognize the rules and fundamentals of security and privacy in The Internet of Things;
Identify and configure devices and applications for implementation and use of Internet of Things;
Develop skills to define requirements and identify Internet of Things solutions for Smart Cities.
