Teaching Methodologies
In classes, expository and open discussion methods are used on topics from the perspective of constructive practice. Classes aim to explore individual learning and teamwork skills through discussion of topics among students with theoretical clarifications.
The teaching methodology used allows the student to acquire knowledge through the content transmitted and independent research. The expository process used in classes allows students to be confronted with pertinent questions about the subject, urging them to participate in their analysis and discussion, in order to identify appropriate structural solutions, in the search for understanding the best solutions, and the appropriate methods. of construction. It is also intended to enhance decision-making capacity and the respective advantages and/or disadvantages of the techniques used in structural systems.

Knowledge of the Rules and Principles, requirements and assumptions for the Application of the Fire Parts of the Structural Eurocodes
Knowledge of fire risk analysis methods.
Knowledge on methods for fire protection using different materials, sizing and checking the safety of structural elements in a fire situation.

Grading Methods
The evaluation will be continuous, with only one exam on a date to be defined between the teacher and the students. The written assessment test is worth 100% of the assessment, being quoted for 20 points, with a minimum rating of 9.5 being required.
