Teaching Methodologies
The following teaching methodologies are used in this curricular unit:
1) Verbal methods (say), making use of the following educational resources: Exposition, Explanation and Dialogue;
2) Active methodologies (do), making use of the following educational resources: Exercises and Group Works.
Learning Results
To provide students the fundamental concepts and methodologies for the analysis of the financial and economic feasibility of investment projects and the management of its implementation. It is expected that at the end of the course the student is able to:
a) Learn and apply basic concepts of financial calculus to investments evaluation;
b) Know the terminology and the basic concepts of investments analysis;
c) Organize the dossier with the elements to evaluate a project; analyze the economic and financial studies of the project; making and justifying real projects decisions and designing
d) Monitoring and control project progress.
