O estudante desenvolve a dissertação, projeto ou estágio em estreita articulação com o orientador e coorientador, caso exista. O estágio é ainda acompanhado por um supervisor da entidade de acolhimento.

1. Apply theoretical, methodological, and practical knowledge to identify problems and develop pertinent and innovative solutions in the fields of Tourism and Management;

2. Design, plan, and produce a scientifically grounded and rigorous work in the form of:

a) Dissertation, aimed at deepening the study of a current and relevant topic within the areas of study;

b) Project, aimed at diagnosing an identified problematic situation, examining a new problem, or applying methods and tools to resolve a problematic situation within an organization;

c) Internship, aimed at integrating the student into an organisational context, including a diagnostic study or problem-solving process, with a relevant contribution to the organization

Dissertation:

– Research problem

– Theoretical framework

– Methodology

– Results

– Analysis and discussion of results, and conclusions

Project:

– Description of the organization and identification of the organizational problem

– Theoretical framework

– Methodology

– Project description

– Results

– Critical reflection and conclusions

Internship:

– Description of the organization and contextualization of the intervention

– Theoretical framework

– Methodology

– Description of activities

– Results

– Critical reflection and conclusions

The assessment consists of:

- Submission of a dissertation, project work, or internship report;

- Oral presentation and public defense before a jury.

These components account for 100% of the final grade.
