Coimbra Agriculture School Students Association
The Students Association of the Coimbra Agriculture School (AEESAC) began its activity in 1982 with the aim of representing and defending the interests of students, governed by the general principles of democracy and representativeness of the associative movement, and obliged to respect the decisions of students. Since its creation, several activities have been developed internally, with the participation and mobilization of students for the construction of the arena and its auditorium, and also the participation in the reconstruction of the pavilion, which was the stage for the legendary agrarian gatherings for years.
AEESAC annually organizes the Courses Week, with the aim of promoting the training of students in the most diverse areas linked to the courses taught at ESAC, inviting several speakers to share their knowledge.
At a national level, AEESAC has participated for several years in the Agrarian Cup, an event that aims to boost sports practice and promote interaction between students from the various Agricultural Schools in the country.
With the aim of bringing former students closer together and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of the student community, AEESAC organizes the annual Expo-Agrya which serves as a stage for the projects developed by them.
Among the teams it brings together, the Rugby team stands out for its history. Created in 1965, it was registered with the Portuguese Rugby Federation in 1969, and since then it has been the seventh oldest federated team in Portugal. In 1975, its activity was suspended, only to be reactivated in the 1992/93 school year.

The Agrarian tradition is known and recognised as one of the most secular, and over the years it has been marked by media episodes linked to the integration of new students.
Currently, inclusion activities are done in a regulated and pedagogical way, including the promotion of inclusive and social activities.
