Provide master’s students with the essential knowledge for the implementation and evaluation of the internal control system, as a means to achieve the objectives established by any type of organization, either in terms of an internal function to assist management as well as in the aspect of the work to be carried out by the auditor.

In the end, students will be able to use the methodologies, tools and procedures suitable for creating the SCI for any type of organization, as well as those suitable for its evaluation.

Grading Methods

1)  Frequency:

Respect the provisions on this matter in the Regulation of the 2nd Cycle of Studies of ISCAC and the assessment methodology established for this curricular unit.

 2) Assessment methodology

Distributed:

i) Elaboration of a written work, in group (maximum of 3 elements), with exposure and discussion in the classroom, during school hours, with a valuation of 1 to 20 values ​​and with a weight of 60% in the final classification, including 10% for exposure and discussion

ii) final test with a duration of 90 minutes, with a valuation of 1 to 20 values ​​and with a weight in the final classification of 40%

Thus, the final classification is equal to CF= 60% * i) + 40% * ii), and the master's students obtain approval with a classification equal to or greater than nine and a half values ​​(9.5 values), failing with the lower classification .

It is a basic condition for accessing this type of assessment to comply with an attendance equal to or greater than 70% (7 classes) of the total set of classes (10 classes) of the curricular unit, in accordance with the master's regulation.
