Teaching Methodologies

Description of contents; analysis and discussion of concepts and demonstration / exemplification of techniques with simulated practice among students.
Availability for care or marking of students in the office or gym to clarify doubts or clarification of concepts and technical implementation.
Review by frequency: students are assessed by performing two tests, written and theoretical practice. The success in the course is obtained by the weighted average (40/60) of the marks obtained in these tests. Note lower than 9.5 in any of the tests mentioned, requires the achievement of a final exam.
Review for final exam: the same format as the evidence often during times designated for (normal, feature and special) effect. The success in the course is obtained in this test with a result greater than or equal to 9.5 in each of the tests mentioned
The ratings are on a scale of 0 to 20.

Learning Results

This teaching unit is directed to the acquisition of knowledge and motor skills for evaluating and implementing techniques of physiotherapy
Acquire the field of terminology related to the concepts covered:
Demonstrate the ability to describe and adjust the methods and concepts covered
Describe and identify the anatomical structures necessary to carry out technical assessment and intervention addressed
Domain implementing technical assessment and intervention addressed
Ability to record complete and accurate.

Introduction to the course (2h)
1.The examination / assessment in physical therapy and its relationship with the ICF (1h)
2.The clinicai reasoning in physiotherapy (1h)
3.    Assessment and diagnosis in physiotherapy and the model of problem solving (1h)
4.    Examination / assessment
4.1 Subjective Examination (10h)
Obtain the following data:
Generic sociodemographic; Social history; Occupation; Growth and development ; Environment; General health; Social habits / health; Family history; Medical surgical history; Current Conditions I main complaints; Functional health status and activity levei; Medication; Other clinicai trials.
4.2 Objective examination (60h)
4.2.1 Examine patients / clients by performing a review of systems that may include traces of Systems cardiovascular / pulmonary, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, integumentary and the assessment of communication, emotional state, cognition, language, and learning style
4.2.2 Tests and measures.
