Teaching Methodologies
Teaching methods:
The methodology is based on scientific research, the analysis and interpretation of scientific articles, as well as other relevant scientific literature. Individual and group guidance sessions will be held. Individual or group guidance will be provided by supervisors selected according to the research topic.
Assessment methods:
Master’s thesis, with presentation and public defense (100%)
The grading system and assessment rules will be determined by specific regulations drawn up for this purpose.
Learning Results
A. Design and execute a dissertation of a scientific nature that demonstrates the knowledge and skills learned during the study cycle – Master’s Degree
B. Articulate the research objectives with the state of the art, adopting valid methodological strategies with a view to obtaining credible results and conclusions, taking into account the context in which the research is carried out (academic or professional).
C. Use appropriate software for editing text, as well as a competent and effective bibliographic reference manager
D. Carry out statistical analysis of the data in accordance with the hypotheses formulated.
E. Elaborate a research process in the form of a formal manuscript with several chapters, or published articles, with the structure according to the Master’s dissertation style approved by the educational institution
F. Present the master’s research clearly and succinctly, in writing and orally.

1. Methodologies and techniques for planning and developing a scientific document.
2. Researching scientific information: content analysis and reference editing tools.
3. Formulating hypotheses on selected research topics.
4. Analysis, selection, creation and validation of research data collection instruments.
5. Applying and implementing qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods and techniques in the research process.
6. Data analysis, synthesis of results and main conclusions.
7. Scientific writing and communication: reports, articles, posters and oral communications.
