Teaching Methodologies

Teaching methods:
The methodology is based on the needs of professional intervention in the field of Audiology. Individual and group guidance sessions will be held. Individual or group guidance will be provided by selected counselors depending on the intervention.

Assessment methods:
Project work, with presentation and public defense (100%).
The grading system and assessment rules will be determined by specific regulations drawn up for this purpose.

Learning Results

A. Design and execute a meaningful professional intervention plan that demonstrates the knowledge and skills learned during the study cycle – Master’s degree.
B. Articulate the objectives of the intervention with the state of the art, adopting valid methodological strategies, with a view to obtaining credible results and conclusions, taking into account the context in which it is inserted.
C. Use appropriate software for editing texts, as well as a bibliographic reference manager in a competent and effective manner.
D. Perform statistical analysis of the data according to the formulated hypotheses.
E. Prepare a project work specially designed for this purpose, which reports the professional intervention carried out, with the structure in accordance with the recommendations approved by the educational institution.
F. Present the project work clearly and succinctly, in writing and orally, to faculty, the academic community, and potential stakeholders.

1. Methodologies and techniques for planning and developing a professional intervention plan.
2. Formulation of hypotheses related to the selected research topics.
3. Analysis, selection, creation and validation of data collection instruments within the scope of research.
4. Application and implementation of the professional intervention plan
5. Data analysis, summary of results and main conclusions.
6. Writing and communication: reports, articles, posters and oral communications.
