In theoretical classes, relevant concepts are exposed, according to the objectives and syllabus described above.
In practical classes, students will apply the maintenance and calibration procedures studied. They will also come into contact with some types of relevant equipment, either medical or testing equipment.
The evaluation will be carried out by final exam.

Assessment = Attendance (2 or 0) + Exam (12 or 14) + Assignments (6)
Attendance
- Score: 2 points out of 20;
- Students who attend all T (theoretical) and P (practical) classes, with a tolerance of up to 2 absences in total, will receive a bonus of 2 points, and in this case the exam will be graded out of 12 points. Students who exceed this limit of absences will not be entitled to the attendance bonus, and the exam will be graded out of 14 points.
Exam
- Score: 12 (or 14) points, with a minimum of 50%.
Assignments
- Score: 6 points, with a minimum of 50%;
- Assignments have fixed submission dates throughout the semester;
- In the case of working students, alternative dates for carrying out the practical activities may be arranged with the professor.
