Teaching Methodologies
The teaching methodologies are defined by the supervising faculty members in accordance with the objectives of each project and the student’s profile. Supervision is tutorial and individually tailored, emphasising student autonomy, critical thinking, technical-scientific rigour and the integration of knowledge. It includes regular meetings between the student and the supervisor(s) with the following purposes:
– Discussion and validation of the work plan;
– Supervision and monitoring of the tasks undertaken;
– Methodological and technical support;
– Guidance on academic writing and the structuring of the monograph.
Learning Results
The master’ graduate should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
– Understanding and consolidation of the knowledge acquired throughout the academic path;
– Ability to research, select and synthesise relevant information;
– Integrated application of the knowledge developed during the programme to achieve objectives and solve non-routine, multidisciplinary and complex problems;
– Critical analysis, synthesis and evidence-based decision-making;
– Clear, well-supported and structured written and oral scientific-technical communication of the activities carried out and the results obtained;
– Development of autonomy and continuous learning, fostering a professional career in Industrial Engineering and Management.
Program
The programme content of each internship is specific to each student and must fall within the core scientific areas of the programme. The internship requires the student’s integration into a company or organisation, with the aim of developing a professional work project involving the practical application of knowledge and skills acquired throughout the programme. It includes the preparation of an academic monograph describing the objectives, methods and tools appropriate to the case, a relevant theoretical framework, and the presentation of results and conclusions.

Bibliography
The bibliography and other study resources will be selected according to the topic of each individual project, based on the student’s autonomous search of high-quality technical and scientific sources (indexed journal articles, specialised books and relevant standards) to support the framing and development of the work, complemented by suggestions provided by the supervising professor(s).
