Portugal Polytechnics International Network Platform (PPIN)
The mission of the Portugal Polytechnics International Network is to share knowledge and training on external markets, enabling the on-site internationalization network to obtain information on the needs and desires of the Portuguese business community, supported by the excellence of Polytechnic Higher Education. In turn, it provides CCISP members and the Portuguese business community with information on potential markets for the development of projects in the different regions.
The activities to be developed include events within the scope of the network, participation in international events, holding national internationalization meetings and the collection, processing and analysis of information within the scope of internationalization.
Also, as an innovative and entrepreneurial initiative, a network of Portuguese Polytechnic Higher Education Ambassadors will be established, which will be responsible for preparing internal prospecting reports on potential markets for projects involving CCISP members and the Portuguese business community.
The Portugal Polytechnics International Network is the result of an application to the Collective Action Support System of Portugal 2020. It includes, as observers, all Polytechnic Institutions and University Institutions with a polytechnic component and, as associated partners, the Coordinating Council of Polytechnic Higher Institutes (CCISP), Turismo de Portugal, IAPMEI and dozens of business entities.
The integration of the PUC into international networks is fundamental for the institution’s projection. Presently the PUC is part of the following international networks and organizations in the field of higher education:

– EAIE – European Association for International education
– EUF – European University Foundation
– EURASHE – European Association of Institutions in Higher Education
– FAUBAI – Associação Brasileira de Educação Internacional
– LEO-NET – Network devoted to international traineeships
– PRIMENETWORKING – Professional Inter-university Management for Educational Networking
